A not very timely review
Jun. 24th, 2018 04:14 pmOK, Lost in Space S1 is a really good family adventure. Acting is great. Science is OK. Visuals and design are great. I love the chariot. My only gripe would be how it's close-call after close-call, which gets a little numbing after a while.
Growing up on reruns of the original, it tugged at my sentimental heartstrings. The original series was supposed to be an adventure series, but got simplified and campy.
It's the music. It's always the music. When they started using the original theme at the end of the first episode, I had to rub my eyes.
What I find amusing is the amount of effort people take to hate on the show. Why watch 8.5hrs of a show if you hate it so much? Silly Internet.
