Ella has pancreatitis. Any problem I had can't be as bad as what my poor dog must be enduring. My wife has a bad back, too and she's had to carry the dog to the vet twice today and is walking back a third time for some medicine.

She's on potent narcs. We think the dosage might be too high, though as she makes weird sounds when she's tripping balls.

They say it's treatable with diet and some painkillers. Honestly, it's nice they actually diagnosed something. For 3 years, they're always treating symptoms and never have anything conclusive just some vague liver/pancreas/adrenal thing. Hopefully it's just an acute problem.

If it's treatable/manageable and you know what it is now that's good news, right? I'm amazed they took so long to diagnose pancreatitis, ugh. (Sorry if this is nosy or unhelpful, but have you tried getting a second opinion from a different vet?)
