Thing is, we have strong gun controls here in the UK. Yet massacres like Dunblane happen. Those nutters who are determined to play their death-and-destruction computer games in reality will, somehow, obtain the weapons to do it.

Having said that, I AM fascinated and appalled by the ease with which Americans seem to get the most horrendous weaponry - not just a simple pistol, but semi-automatics and sophisticated guns that surely no legal civilian would have a use for. Yet they're available at Walmart.
